Özüm Melek DOĞAN, has joined the QAZE Alliance Advisors team as a legal partner, graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law. She began her professional legal career as a partner in a reputable law firm, where she developed her expertise across multiple areas of law. Over the years, Özüm built a distinguished career in the energy sector, specifically within one of Turkey's leading publicly-authorized corporate groups dedicated to electricity distribution and electricity trading. She initially served as a lawyer and later as a legal counsel, where she provided strategic counsel on complex regulatory and compliance matters in this highly regulated sector.
Özüm offers comprehensive legal support to each clients focusing on key areas such as energy law, commercial law, corporate law, labor law, enforcement and bankruptcy law, contract law and both national and international arbitration. Her experience extends to representing clients in complex disputes and managing litigation strategies that address multifaceted legal challenges. Additionally, Özüm is highly knowledgeable in legislation related to data privacy law and competition law, where she has actively led compliance initiatives. She leads to guiding organizations through regulatory adaptation processes, ensuring adherence to legal frameworks and fostering corporate compliance.
